I've been going to take31 since I was in college. It's been my go to ktown pocha bc the food is delicious and the vibes are always great! I definitely recommend getting the injeolmi pork belly which goes really well with the free tteokbokki! This is a great spot to go to with friends before hitting the clubs or karoake

Visiting NYC, and this was my top 3 meals that I had! Everything was great and well seasoned. We got the Soju Slush to share for the table which was refreshing. They also gave free tteokbokki which was a great bonus. My favorites were the Bulgogi Black Garlic Fried Rice and the Garlic Crust Chicken dish. There were so many options to choose from that all sounded tasty, so it was hard to narrow down what I wanted. Great service and large space with good amount of seating.

I freaking love Korean Food! This area has some of the best that NYC has to offer, although a bit off from the main strip of where most are located. My friend who lives closeby (I know, what sane person would want to live here?!?!?) took me to this place. The entrance was covered by construction so it was hard to find. The place is a bit small and narrow but we were greeted and seated as soon as we went in. The decor and furniture aren't of high quality, but something you should expect for decently priced food. They also compensate with good and fast service. The food is great. We ordered: Seafood & Scallion Pancake - huge portion. Tasty. Although a bit too greasy for my tastes Braised Pork Belly - tender, flavorful. Pretty pricey for what you get. Short Rib Chapaguri = Delicious! My favorite of what we ordered. We ordered a couple of other things that I don't see on the menu any longer. Such as the traditional and street food Korean staple teokbokki (short rice cakes), which were flavorful and not too spicy, a coffee drink which was tasty but super overwhelmingly sweet, and BBQ chicken wings (good for what they were here but Korean chicken wings are supposed to always be a hit). I like the place. It's definitely different from my usual 3am stops after clubbing on W 32nd St.

The egg roll was very light and creamy and we loved it! The udon was our favorite dish and it was so creamy and with lots of flavor. We also got the budae jjigae which I forgot to take a picture of. The budae jjigae was interesting, there were breakfast sausages in them. We werent sure if we were fans of that but a friend told us their soondooboo was good so would come back to try different food! I think it would he a cute casual date spot, it was darker inside.

I love the dark and modern take of the environment of this restaurant, it's perfect for small and intimate gatherings. The food was on the more expensive side, but everything we ordered was awesome. The boneless chicken was spicy and flavorful, the short rib lasagna was creamy and savory, the black garlic rice was very garlicky and savory. Food also came out quickly and service was great This place isn't talked about enough and does deserve more recognition IMO.

Oh my GOODNESS this is one of my new favorite spots in NYC. The food is so so good and I also quite unique! We made a reservation ahead of time for our party of 6, and that was definitely helpful as the space isn't too big. We ordered quite a spread - the crispy corn pancake, pork belly rice crepe, cod roe omelette, army stew, and steak chappaguri. All the food is absolutely DELICIOUS. The best part is that they even give you free unlimited tteokkbokki + fish cakes which are some of the best I've had. The rice cakes are so thick and chewy and the sauce is so perfectly flavorful that I can't believe they keep giving you more and more. The pork belly rice crepes are incredible - crispy, sweet, savory, and everything all amazing at once. The cod roe omelette is so unique as well and I really loved it. Army stew was comforting and had so many goodies inside, and the corn pancake was so crispy and immaculate. The chappaguri was probably my least favorite as I felt it was missing something but it was still good nonetheless. This place is amazing! I've heard its better than the sister restaurant Her Name is Han, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is. I would definitely come back again!

I am in love with their sister restaurant right next door (Her Name is Han) and had to try Take31 which is under the same parent company. I was not disappointed. Food was amazing and portions are made to share. We ordered the spicy galbi stew and braised pork belly as an appetizer. We debated getting the Pork Belly Rice Crepe Wraps instead, but the waiter recommended the braised pork belly over it. Both dishes were delicious and the menu has a lot of other interesting dishes I'd love to come back to try! Service was quick as our table had a time limit on it and so they expedited our order to the kitchen to be made first. For context - we shared a table with another party and essentially had to leave as soon as they also finished.

My last meal in New York City was at Take 31 for dinner. It is a Korean spot that is filled with many customers enjoying some Sojuand food. I would consider this place a hip spot that serves up some nice and tasty bar-type food with a Korean spin to it. We had ordered some Soju and also Makguli which is a Korean rice wine that is flavored. They have a tasty rolled-up cod omelet that is sharable. Their garlic crust and spicy chicken are also pretty good. The noise level is quite high but the crowd is young & hip. So if you want to have a good time Take 31 is a great spot for a nice dinner.
